On September 7, 2008, The Four Angels went into a Hudson, Ohio recording studio to record some basic vocal tracks, none of which we know of were ever used. The session consists of the original Four Angels from The St. Therese Of The Child Jesus choir, Jackie, Katie, Mary Grace & Shelby.
Wes Steele was in the control room as producer. It might be possible that a studio album was being considered. There was discussions of string arrangements, so it was certainly much more than a demo session. This is all mere speculation, but the fact remains that this particular session took place and was never released, until now.
This session was recorded in one take with some priceless between-take commentary throughout the entire session from The Four Angels, in particular, and Wes Steele can be heard from the control room, though this dialouge has been edited out of this demo.
The session has become known as "The September 7 Session" There is Eleven tracks of hymns on this demo. The recording is a little over 15 minutes long. This special recording is now available on CD.
