As some of you may know, we have talked about audio recording The Sacrifice of The Mass for quite some time.We finally recorded The Mass on July 13, 2006, 8:30AM at St. Joseph's Novitiate Chapel in Round Top, New York.Though this was a special recording, just for our listening audience, it was the actual Mass, though no one went to Communion.
We used four microphones to record the Mass, so you will hear foot steps and other sounds that are normally heard in a chapel...If you listen closely, you can hear the water or wine being poured at the Offertory. This was not recorded in a studio, so the audio may not be perfect, but once again, it is the actual TRUE Mass.
Father Joseph Santay had the Mass and seminarian Rob Lichter was the altar boy. I would like to thank The Daughters Of Mary who added their beautiful voices to this Mass
Proceeds of this recorded Mass will benefit Immaculate Heart Seminary, The Daughters Of Mary, and WFTS Internet Radio.
